Question 1:
Is there a re-build kit offered for this one? I have had and seen lots of problems with the sealing strips.
Answer 1:
Yes, there are maintenance kits available for both units that can be ordered from your dealer or from direct from VacUpack.
Question 2:
Also on the vacUpack is there a manual seal button for manual sealing before it crushes the food to death?
Answer 2:
Yes, both units have a manual mode.
Question 3:
Where is the port to connect the hose on the VP210?
Answer 3:
There is no port. While these machines are frequently purchased by home users needing the capacity and the durability of these machines, they were designed for commercial use and as such, do not have an external vacuum hose port.
Question 4:
What is the difference between the Vacmaster and the ARY brand of bags?
Answer 4:
There is no difference. ARY is the manufacturer and VacMaster is their brand of bags. They are one and the same.

Question 7:
I’m interested in the VP210 and the VP215. I don’t know which one to buy. Can you help?
Answer 7:
The main difference between the two units is the pump. The VP210 comes with a dry lubricated pump and it has a lower capacity than the VP215 with it’s higher powered, oil lubricated pump.
What this means is that the VP210’s maximum vacuum rating is 28″ while the VP215 can achieve 29.5″. Additionally the VP210 can take up to 45 seconds to fully evacuate the chamber, the VP215 can do it in 30 seconds. For most home users, the VP210 is perfect because they don’t need the higher capacities and the shorter cycle times, but that is something each user has to determine for themselves.
Question 8:
How long will the VP210 dry lubricated pump last in comparison to the VP215’s oil lubricated pump?
Answer 8:
At this point, these models are just a few years old so we don’t have solid numbers to give, but I can tell you that the oil lubricated pump should last longer than the VP210 and we have several customers who have run over 10,000 bags through their VP210’s already.
Question 9:
How often does the oil need to be changed in the VP215?
Answer 9:
First oil change is due after 25 hours of use or after 3000 bags at 30 seconds vacuum time.
Additional oil changes are due after every 60 hours or after each 7200 bags at 30 seconds vacuum time.
